Spellbinders Sweet Cardlets II Collection

 Hello Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out a new collection from Spellbinders! The Sweet Cardlets II Collection has some adorable images to satisfy the girly and frilly streak that sometimes lies dormant in my crafty system.

So let's get to the cards!

For the first card, I used the Cup of Kindness Glimmer Hot Foil plates and some patterned paper from the Sincerely Yours Paper Pad to create that front square image. After the foiling was done, I cut a piece of pink cardstock from my scrap stash and just matted the foiled square on to that piece of cardstock and trimmed it down. I added foam to the back of that finished piece and glued it down to the top center of the card.

I created the card base by cutting and scoring a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 inch white cardstock and then adhering another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pad (cut down to 4.25 x 5.5 inches) down to the card base.

To finish off the card, I foiled the sentiment that's included in the set and then trimmed it down before matting it to the same pink cardstock. I added the same foam to the back and glued it down underneath the teacup and teapot panel up top.

I followed the exact same process for the next card, using colored cardstock I had in my stash, foil, and white cardstock. But this time, I used the You are My Home Glimmer Plate set

I love that these glimmer plate sets look so nice on simple colored cardstock. It's a great way to use up all the colored cardstock that creeps into your stash!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll check out these new products!
