Ramen Love With You!

Hey Friends!

I'm popping up here with a quick post to talk about my last card two cards that I created while I was guesting for Sweet N' Sassy Stamps this month!

I am a huge sucker for a cute food doodle stamp set, and I love this one called Punny Love.

This card was pretty simple, and it just involved putting together multiple panels!

I started with creating an alcohol ink panel on Yupo paper and then trimmed it down to 4.25 x 5.5 inches before gluing it down to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base.

I then chose a few other pieces of patterned paper that I had in my stash, trimmed them down to various sizes, and glued them down to the base in a staggered layout to give some visual interest since I knew the main image panel would be pretty simple.

I stamped one of the food images on to a piece of bristol cardstock, colored it with prismacolor pencils and then stamped the sentiment below the image with black ink.

I trimmed down the panel and then glued it down to the rest of the card base to finish everything off!

For the next card, I did a fun little messy watercolor look that's quite easy to achieve!

I turned my stamps over so that the backside was visible, colored them with distress markers, and then sprayed them with water before stamping them down on to my watercolor paper. I heat set them just a little bit, and then did the second step.

I turned the stamps over so that they were facing the "right" direction, inked them up with the matching color of distress ink, and then stamped them down. I used a water brush to soften the lines a little bit, and then stamped and embossed the sentiment.

I trimmed down my watercolor paper to a 4x4 inch square panel and then mounted it with foam before gluing it down to a cut and scored 4.25x4.25 inch square card base.

The card was looking just a bit unfinished to me, so I pulled out a black pen and then just doodled the black border across all four edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you haven't already, I encourage you to check out Sweet N' Sassy Stamps and their fantastic products! They have some SUPER cute stamp sets and great things to offer a variety of crafting styles!

Stamp Market New Release Blog Hop

Welcome, Crafty Friends!

I am just absolutely giddy with excitement today! I'm so thrilled to be joining some fantastic folks from The Stamp Market Design Team in showcasing the fabulous new release available for purchase now! You can find the entire new release here!

I'm sharing a few cards today, using various products from the release so let's get right to it!

For my first card, I used the Blooming Peony Stamp and Cut Bundle. What I love about this stamp set is that it's so forgiving! It seems like there's no wrong way to line it up and use it!

I stamped the base floral images on to white cardstock in my lightest pink shade. I then lined up the next layer, stamped it with a slightly darker pink ink, and then repeated this process for the last two layers. After stamping the leaf images, I then used the die to cut out both the flower and the leaves and set them aside.

I then cut down a 4.25 x 5.5 inch piece of gray kraft cardstock, used one of the leaf images to repeat stamp a background using a matching gray ink color. After gluing the panel on to a cut and scored card base, I used my corner rounder to round only two of the corners of the card to add visual interest.

I finished off the card by mounting my leaf and floral images with foam tape and adhering them on to the card before stamping a sentiment in black ink, die cutting it, and adhering it on to the finished card with foam tape as well!

For my last card, I used some stamps in the ADORABLE Color Me Happy set. I did a little bit of a different size card (a 4-Bar notecard), stamped and colored the paint palette and paintbrush images, and stamped a sentiment to finish things off!

I trimmed down the panel, glued it on to a black matte, and then adhered it down to a cut and scored 4 bar size notecard.
