Thanks so much for stopping by today and I promise I will make it quick!
Just wanted to tell you about something SUPER AWESOME that hit the shop this week!
Honeybee Stamps has teamed up with WOW to create an exclusive trio of embossing powders!! I love these colors so much and the combinations you can create with them are endless!!
I created this card today with very minimal supplies, so let's get started!
Trim down a piece of black cardstock to 4.25 x 5.5 inches and glue it on to a white cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and set it aside.
Next, cut down a piece of vellum to 4 x 5.25 inches. Don't worry about prepping your vellum with any anti-static materials because the WOW embossing powder already contains anti-static properties in it! Ink up your Zen Bouquet background stamp with Versamark ink and then stamp it on to your vellum piece.
Cover your vellum piece with white embossing powder and then heat set it to melt the powder. Turn the embossed vellum piece over and apply liquid adhesive on the areas where the embossing is so that the adhesive won't show up when you flip it back over!
Lay/adhere the vellum piece on to your card base and then let it dry.
Using the Goodness Gracious die set, cut out the "gracious" word out of white cardstock and ink it up with Versamark ink as well. Cover it with the BEE Sweet powder and heat set it to melt the powder. Glue that on to your card base, and then you only have two elements left!
Ink up a piece of scrap cardstock with Versamark and then apply the BEE Kind powder. Heat set it to melt the powder and then set it aside.
Stamp your sentiment phrase from the Goodness Gracious stamp set on to a white cardstock strip, trim it down, and then glue it on to your blue glittered cardstock that you just made! Trim it down to the right size strip for your card and then glue it down. I mounted mine with foam tape for some added dimension, but you can make it all the same layer if you're feeling a little more simple!
Now step back and admire your work!!
Thanks again for stopping by today and BEE SURE to check out these new embossing powders! They're the bees knees!!
