Spellbinders: Home for the Holidays

Hey Friends!

Welcome back to my blog - I'm glad you're here!

I'd love to show you a project using some dies from the St. Nick set, which is included in one of the newest holiday collections from Spellbindesr: Home for the Holidays.

I love die sets to make entire projects, because all you need is colored cardstock, the dies, your die-cutting machine, and glue!

I cut all the pieces out and then glued them all together. I used a piece of patterned patter from my scrap collection to finish off the panel. To create my cardbase, I cut an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of white cardstock down to slimline dimensions - 8.5 x 7 inches. I then scored that cardbase down the middle and adhered the panel down to the base.

Thanks again for stopping by today!

Spellbinders: Out and About Collection

 Hello!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I'm excited to share one of the die-cutting sets from the Out and About Collection: Mushroom Mansion

Look at how cute this little mushroom house is!

There are so many possibilities to customize this house.

I love diecutting sets like this because they are like putting together a puzzle, and I find it really relaxing. I cut out all the pieces and then just glued them together.

The foliage options in the set are such a nice bonus to bring the entire image together. I love how it finished the project in a really cute way.

I used lots of different colored cardstocks and liquid glue for this project. I love being able to make an entire project with a small amount of tools!

Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to check out the rest of the products in this great collection!

Heffy Friends Blog Hop!

Welcome, crafty friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and participating in this fun blog hop to showcase the most recent Heffy Doodle release!

Today I'm sharing a card that just makes me smile - and it was really easy to create, so let's get right to it!

I began by stamping several images from the You Go, Gull stamp set and then colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used:

Seagulls - W1, W3, YR16, YR68

Clouds - B000

Parchment Paper - E53, E55

Bottle - E33, Y13, Y11, T1

Log - E33, E13, E25

I also used the coordinating die set to cut out the images and then set them aside while I constructed the background.

I used the Breaking Waves border dies and three different colors of Heffy Doodle Cardstock and then sponged some Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide inks to create a little dimension on the edge of the waves.

I arranged all my die cut images and glued them down using liquid adhesive. I then stamped the sentiment on to the parchment paper image in black ink to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for joining this hop and helping us celebrate a new release! You will find all the details for the blog hop below.
