Zen Garden Release Blog Hop Day 4!

Welcome to Day 4 of the Zen Garden Release!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've got a few cards to share with you today, and if your excitement isn't totally maxed out after 4 days of fantastic projects from the team, then check your pulse immediately!!! You can find the entire release here.

First up to bat is this little beauty that showcases the Faithful Flutterings stamp set. Want to know a fantastic secret about the Catherine Pooler Designs Premium Inks? You can make beautiful watercolor pieces with them!

You can stamp the inside images from the set and then use the CPD inks and a paintbrush to spread the ink out and make the outline of the butterfly shape. I trimmed the watercolored panel down to a smaller size and then finished off this card by putting some coordinating washi tape on the edges of the panel before gluing it on to my card base.

My next card uses some of my favorite things--foil!! I used the Split Chevron Stencil and my foil transfer gel to create this beauty. I used some silver deco foil and the Smile word die along with one of the sentiments from the Love Grows stamp set.

And now for my favorite card! I readily admit that I, too, am totally obsessed with alcohol inks, and so I used some of my bright colors to make this card. I used the stained glass coverplate die to cut several layers and glued them all together before gluing it on to my alcohol inked background. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the Faithful Flutterings stamp set to finish off the card.

Have you been hopping along this week?!?!?

Catherine Pooler is giving away a full set of ink pads to 2 lucky winners on each day of the blog hop! Hop along to each blog and leave a comment for a chance to win! Winners will be announced Monday.

Here is the full hop list for today:
