Gobble 'Til You Wobble! + Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hey there!

Thanks for finding your way over to my blog to celebrate Heffy Doodle's new release! If you just came from the fabulous Jessica McAfee's blog, you're in the right place!

Today I'm sharing this card that I created using the fabulous new Jet Alphabetters stamp set.

If you've hopped along to the other blogs, you've probably noticed that this release contains a lot of fantastic Christmas and winter images. Because it's just early November, I decided I should probably hold off on using those until it gets a little closer to the holidays!

Thankfully this alphabet stamp set is so versatile that you can make it work for any card design/theme you want. I decided to use it for a Thanksgiving card to show off the possibilities. Within the last couple years, I heard this "Gobble 'til you wobble!" phrase for the first time, and I thought it was the cutest thing ever.

I started by stamping out the phrase using Versafine black ink. I then die cut the panel using the My Favorite Things Cross Stitch die. I mounted the panel on a piece of foam and then glued it to my card base. I used some patterned paper that I had lying around in my scrap box for my card base.

Because this was a relatively simple card design, I wanted to add a little embellishment to give the card some interest. I looked through my stickers and other scrapbooking supplies, and I saw these pie stickers. Since this was a Thanksgiving card, using the pumpkin pie sticker seemed perfect!!

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my card. If you're participating in the blog hop, make sure to hop on over to the next stop on the blog--the super creative Maria Rudolph
