Heffy Friends Blog Hop

Welcome, crafty friends!

I'm so pleased to be joining this blog hop today to spread the love for the most recent Heffy Doodle release!

I used the Otter Side stamp set and the Stormy Seas stencil to create today's card, so let's get right down to it!

I slipped the stencil over a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and used an ink blending tool to apply distress oxide inks on to the card, turning the stencil two additional times and using a lighter color of ink. From bottom to top, I used Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass.

I then stamped images from the Otter Side stamp set on to scrap white cardstock and then colored them with my copics before using the coordinating die set to cut out the images. I then glued them on to the stenciled card base and then went to work on the sentiment.

I used the You are dies to cut out the first part of the sentiment. I glued it it down to the top of the card and then stamped phrases from the Otter Side stamp set underneath it to finish off the card!

So let's get on to the blog hop!

To celebrate the new release Heffy Doodle will be giving away a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle Store! Make sure to comment on each stop in the hop to be entered for your chance to win. The winner will be selected randomly and announced on the Heffy Doodle blog on March 19th!

Hop along to each stop and leave a comment on each blog for your chance to win. Here is the lineup:

  2. What a sweet design, you did a wonderful job! We just saw two weasels playing in a similar day two weeks ago with my daughters at the zoo, so it made me smile, as it reminded me of that day of ours! :-)
