Heffy Doodle June 2018 Release

Hi There!

So glad to have you here on my blog today. If you've just come from the Heffy Doodle Blog, then you're in the right place!

This new release is just so amazing. Some great brand new products that we've never had before like stencils and background dies, in addition to adorable new stamp and die sets, of course. :) You can find the entire release here

The card I made for today showcases the new Oceans of Love stamp and die set.

I stamped my images in a copic safe black ink and then colored them with my copic markers. I used the matching dies to cut out the images and then set them aside.

I also created a watercolor panel by smooshing distress inks on to an acrylic block, spraying the block with water and then pressing the block on the watercolor paper.

When it was dry, I trimmed down the panel a bit and set it aside.

I cut a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card panel of white cardstock and then die cut a square window out of it, using a Lawn Fawn stitched square stackable die.

I mounted the window piece on to the watercolor panel with foam tape so that there was some dimension to the card. I then adhered my images around the assembled card panel, alternating with foam tape and liquid glue, making sure that the images could be popped up off the card on the watercolor area, but flat against the white window area.

After the images were all adhered to the card, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the entire panel on to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card panel.

Now let's get to the blog hop details!
